About Kitchener Centre’s New Democrats

The Kitchener Centre New Democratic Party Federal Electoral District and Provincial Constituency Associations are affiliated with and recognized by both the New Democratic Party of Ontario and the New Democratic Party of Canada.

Our Mission Statement

“The Kitchener Centre NDP exists to encourage the electorate to be engaged regarding equality, job creation and democratic participation for every person.”

We are active as a political party in our community and partner with many diverse organizations and advocacy groups within Kitchener to bring events and community engagement opportunities, with the goal of effecting positive change in our city and across our country. Ultimately we believe that by electing a New Democrat Member of Parliament and Member of Provincial Parliament, we will be able to successfully effect that change in tangible, realistic ways.

Governance

The Kitchener Centre NDP operates under the constitutions of the New Democratic Party of Canada and the New Democratic Party of Ontario. The affairs of the Kitchener Centre NDP itself are governed by our provincial constitution and provincial by-laws, or federal constitution and federal by-laws.
